In the still of the night, I heard the sound of cat aggression in the porch.
I quickly grabbed the key and opened the door.
I see Mr Zurik taking off from the porch towards the gate.
You again!!
Vincent is by my side and quickly takes up a defensive position on the shoe bench. Rosie and Daffodil are both atop the car, safe and sound. But they look worried too.
Within seconds when the Russian had scuttled away, Heidi creeps up from nowhere. I think from under the car, maybe.
Poor girl, Mr Zurik had taken on an aggressive stand on her.
I quickly gestured Heidi to get into the house for safety. Who knows, the Russian might return.
She knows where to go - straight to the kitchen. She took my lead in this.
I offered some food, knowing she must be hungry.
She needs small meals as she cannot eat too much at one go.
Poor Heidi, but she is safe now.
Timmy is concerned.

If that is the face Daffodil sees all the time, it's no wonder that Ginger is her favourite child. Muka kesian klasik! Ginger seems to have that look permanently.
Yes, it is his permanent look. How can any mother (or anyone, for that matter) not love him and not want to protect him?!!
