The Blueys go home....and meet their new little human-sister and doggy-friend!

Andy and Emily brought the Blueys home for the weekend. Here is the full set of photos: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.153207818111083.31003.150761195022412&type=1

And here's something from Andy:

Hi Dr,

Posted some updates of Blueys first day home onto FB. Check them out.

My daughter just loves small animals. She was so excited to see the kittens. My dog smells their existence although he did not see we brought Blueys back. He was so restless and barking non stop. When we release him, he stay outside the room waiting for a chance to go in. My boy accidentally let him in while he himself trying to get in to see Blueys. Blueys got a shock of their life meeting him and Baloo hiss at him immediately( yes, Baloo has been very aggressive.). Fortunately he did not harm them ( i was there to watching), i then bring him out immediately. I think he is just being curious and didnt mean bad. ( he react the same way when he meet other dogs in the park). But i still dare not take the chance. He is also being jealous i think.

Anyway, is a adventurous day for us trying to settle the cats and the dog.... and my over excited daughter...

That much for the time being. Take care

Regards
Andy

Hmm...a new place....

Is it safe to come out?

Hey, Mummy....the kitties are SO cute! Can they come out and play?
(This is Ashley Lew, isn't she just so cute?)

Aww....look at that, Andy and Emily packed the Blueys' stuff back home.

Fish pad, litter-box, feather, everything...

Play, Bluey kitties, play...

The Blueys' place in the house.

Exploring...

Though this window is so high, Emily DIY-wirenetted it with their dog's playpen wire.

The Blueys ate like nobody's business....looks like no stress at the new place.
But of course, it's home, isn't it?

After dinner....it's playtime, and they created a new game with the....

....toilet roll!

Lucas, the King Charles Spaniel, waiting outside the door...

He's impatient now, and begins scratching at the tiles.
He wants to play, too.

Little Ashley joins in....

After a fun-filled weekend adventure, it's Monday again, it's back to work at the office for the Blueys!

Visiting the Blueys!!!

After we were done settling some matters at the new house (sobs, still lots to do before we can move in), we decided to head off to Selayang to visit the Blueys.

So, we went home and I quickly stir-fried some chicken meat, and we were off. Emily was at the office with the Blueys and would be taking them home with her for the weekend....

Here's the treat of stir-fried chicken.

Approaching the Blueys' "office"!

Hi Baggy!!!

There's Baloo!

Hey you!

Hello, hello!! How have you been?

The Blueys are especially attached to my husband. It's the opposite gender thingie. They went over to greet him and say hello immediately.

Emily adores them and says it's such a joy just watching them play every day. It's a great stress-reliever.

Emily telling me all about their antics and what a joy they are.

Bagheera went for the chicken first.

Aww...look at that! They didn't want Emily to feel left out. So, they are saying, "We love you, too!"

Yums, yums....

They had just eaten their canned food, so they weren't very hungry.

Emily is very concerned about their wellbeing and safety, ensuring everywhere in the office is safe for them.

Emily says they love the feather. Mr Teh bought a whole bunch for them.

There must be catnip inside it, somehow, 'coz they went crazy over it.
Emily wanted to know if catnip is safe. As far as I know, yes, it is.

My, my...they have both grown so much, and it's only been 6 days.

Hey, hey!
You're having such a great time here, aren't you?

Emily asked if Revolution (for flea, flea eggs and worm control) can be used and showed me the brochures. It can be provided they are at least 6 weeks old, and they are. The Blueys had some fleas despite being Frontlined. It must be the eggs hatching as Frontline cannot take care of the eggs, but Revolution can.

The Blueys thought they too should check out the product. After all, don't they know better, right?

They just love their tree.

Emily said they loved their swinging toys, but has already destroyed a few!

Roaming outside their office....

And Emily said they have been obediently using the litter box. No mishaps.

Emily said she has wirenetted the window in her house where the Blueys will be when she brings them home on weekends.

What's left of their swinging toys.

They'd race down the aisle once you shake the feather.

This is their new house.

After chatting with Emily and playing with the Blueys for more than an hour, it was time for us to leave.

Hey you....have fun and be good, ok?

Aww....look at that....
Yes, I love you, too...

You'll come see us again?

YES, Blueys....till then, have fun!

While we were driving back, Emily texted to say Bagheera weighed 1.12kg and Baloo 1.05kg. So, the little sister is heavier than the big sister now! Bagheera also eats much more than Baloo. That's usually the case - the deprived one would catch up. (Bagheera was the one neglected by their mother and was brought in emaciated).

Andy returned to the office later and sent me this photo....

Kaput...after all the fun and games!

It's truly heaven-sent when we find good adopters for the animals that we foster. That's something money cannot buy. I'm so thankful the Universe "matched" Andy and Emily with the Blueys.

Thank you so much, Andy and Emily.

And I mustn't forget to also say a prayer of thanks to the Universe now....
