We placed Indy in this little space after the books arrived and then we went out.
When we came back, Indy was still there....!! Looks like he really likes his new spot. And by feline rules, it is HIS because he claimed it first.
And all night, he has been sleeping there...most comfortably too!
I know I have a long way to go in getting Indy home again...but this is a good start, I hope!

Indy must be very proud for being promoted as The Guardian of the new books!

Not to spoil this but what would happen when the books have been moved/distributed?
Oh, we've already figured that out yesterday. We'll move Indy's "tower" last. We'll remove the books from the right, retaining his tower as long as possible. By then, we may have moved house already.
