The one on the hip - also drying up, but a bit tricky as it gets inflamed when it is licked.

mini-P3290629Today is Day 23. When Tiger was first diagnosed, I was cautioned that the treatment will take months and is going to be very challenging. It was going to be a long, long haul, but I'm glad Tiger has shown great improvement over the past few days. I hope there will be no relapse.

Thank you, everyone, for all your kind wishes and prayers for Tiger!

P.S. The vet told me there was another case of an FIV+ sporo cat where a relapse occurred after 2 months. The sporo spores are really a stubborn and resilient lot.

My heart goes out to you! I know that caring for Tiger is time-consuming now, and you are already taxed for time. I'm delighted that the sores are improving, at least today. "Take therefore no thought for the morrow, for the morrow shall take thought of the things for itself." Wishing you a restful weekend!

Oh, it's getting much easier now, without having to apply the Lamisil cream, without the quarantine. I think (and hope!) the hard part is over...
