Tiger's Day 10 sores

I managed to keep the e-collar on Tiger for 45 minutes or more today, so that's quite an achievement. Tiger didn't seem so stressed out with the collar today. However, he still licks feverish once the collar is taken out. It's almost as though he has to groom himself once that dratted foreign body is taken off him!

I didn't want to stress him out further by taking photos of his sores. He has more or less learnt that the very sight of the camera means he will be handled, and he doesn't like it.

But while he was resting just now, I managed to take these:

mini-P3160609

An original sore - still stubborn.

mini-P3160610

The one on the hip which appeared about 5 days ago - less inflamed.

mini-P3160611

The two new sores which appeared on the right front paw yesterday - almost gone. It's quite amazing.

mini-P3160616

The originals on the left front paw - still stubborn. But at least, they have not got worse.

mini-P3160618

The originals on the left hind leg - still stubborn.

tail

The one on the tail which I may have overlooked earlier and only noticed yesterday - still there.

Tiger has been really good today. Well, he is actually good every day, obediently taking his medicines and letting me do whatever needs to be done.

Sporo treatment is really a day-by-day experience and what happens now cannot be a predictor for what may happen later. The vets have told me many stories from their other clients as evidence of this fact.

So, it's one day at a time and for today, it's indeed a blessing that Tiger is eating well and coping well.

Tiger is obedient, so he doesn't spit it out, but the capsule is rather "fat" so it isn't so easy to swallow.
