24+24 = 48, which is great prosperity - another auspicious blanket! I know, the Chinese are crazy when it comes to numbers.

Here we go - the GONG XI Blanket!
This is a two-layered cotton patchwork with no padding in between.
It measures 50.5 inches by 74 inches.
The making:
The main design is made with wide strips.
It's all in the cutting and arranging (to get the pattern I want).
Of course Ginger must approve.
He is the CEO of the PatioCat Patchwork Co.
The sashing is done in pretty pink.
My mum did the backing and top-stitching.
Will this be your Gong Xi blanket?
Happy Bidding!!
For RM150, you will be subsidising the neutering of a street dog or a street cat and two vaccinations. It goes a long way for the animals that you will be helping. In return for your kindness and generosity, you get a home-sewn blanket with our gratitude!

Yes this would make a nice AngPow gift on an auspicious Horse Year. Would have been nicer if only there were many horses as in blankie #23 with longevity turtles. Just the same it will make a gorgeously beautiful CNY gift for a loved one & it is will a steal if RM 388 sneaks in
