The Gong Xi Blanket - up for auction (closing at 5pm on Friday, the 24th)

Here comes Blanket No.24 and the auction is closing on the 24th, tomorrow.

24+24 = 48, which is great prosperity - another auspicious blanket! I know, the Chinese are crazy when it comes to numbers.

This is a two-layered cotton patchwork with no padding in between.


It measures 50.5 inches by 74 inches.


The making:

Yes this would make a nice AngPow gift on an auspicious Horse Year. Would have been nicer if only there were many horses as in blankie #23 with longevity turtles. Just the same it will make a gorgeously beautiful CNY gift for a loved one & it is will a steal if RM 388 sneaks in
