Vincent's "Doorway"

A few nights ago, in the middle of the night, we heard shuffling sounds in the bedroom. Upon checking, it was a cat trying to get in through the green netting on the window.

This green netting was installed because previously Mr G's friends would come in through the window from the roof and urinate on our bed! Yes, Mr G did that as well.

Hence, the green netting.

But on that night, who was trying to push his way through the corner of the netting to get into the room?

Soon, the cat came through and it was....Vincent!

He jumped onto the bed and rubbed himself all over, obviously very pleased with himself for having discovered a secret entry from the outside world into the house.

From that point onwards, this entry point was officially known as "Vincent's Doorway".

Now, look who else has discovered Vincent's doorway too....

tabs' lookout

When Tabs is out on her daily free romp around the house, Vincent's Doorway is blocked by these albums. We just cannot risk Tabs escaping out onto the roof again!

Meanwhile, another tabby has made herself absolutely at home and even goes upstairs to hang out.

It's the Dame.

But even though she roams around the house and makes herself completely at home...

mini-P9050170This is her throne (looks like we cannot recycle this box anymore) and woe betide ANY cat who tries to step onto it!

Beware of the whacking Dame!
