Welcome 2014 in style! Gangnam style!! (Blanket No. 16 - up for auction!!)

2013 is coming to a close and we hope 2014 will begin with a bang and in style for everyone!

For us, to be exact, we have RM2796 of Berjaya Funds (as of today, right now) which is probably enough for 1-2 weeks of claims after which we will be entirely on our own like before.

So, we are going to depend on our merchandising and donations for 2014 to service the many, many applicants who come to us for their animals' medical needs.

To start it off, for 2014, we present to you, a blanket in Gangnam Style! Many thanks to Agnes Cheong for contributing 3 pieces of the cloth needed to make this blanket and for all her efforts in choosing and buying matching cloth for this set!

Auction Rules:

1. Please check the latest comment for the latest bid before putting in yours.

2. All bids are placed as comments on this blogpost. All comments will be published instantly in chronological order.

3. The auction ends at 5pm, on Saturday, 28th December 2013.

Note: Please monitor this post near closing time if you want to ensure that you are the highest bidder.

These designs are getting ever more intricate -- definitely a mathematician at work! :-) Happy bidding, folks!

The satisfaction comes from working only with strips (straight lines) and hence, not wasting any cloth! I don't even cut squares anymore and this saves even more cloth. It's all done with strips across the entire length of the cloth. And whatever left over, if any, is used to make designs for the shopping bags!

Will there be anymore Gangnam Style blankets after this?

We only had enough cloth for one blanket, Nita. But we may be making Gangnam Style shopping bags with the remnants of the cloth.
