Blanket No.15 - It's Christmas!! (up for auction)

Christmas and the end of the year has this wonderful way of penetrating into every household, every heart - sharing joy, love, and peace and goodwill to all.

So, in conjunction with the holiday spirit and cheer, we bring you our very own.....Christmas Blanket!

19th Dec:

At 11.43am, Alida bids RM400.

At 10.46am, Wine Dogs bid RM350.

It measures 49 in X 68 in. And this is a two-layered patchwork without padding in between.

The Making:

It starts with just four strips of cloth of Christmas colours.

Cut, cut, cut (as accurately as possible).

Rearrange, sew again, cut again and voila...

You get these wonderful diagonal designs!

Then, you put in the sash, supervised by a rep from the PatioCat Co.

The dark green cloth is contributed by Agnes Cheong. The rest is ours.
The red floral and polka dot date back decades in mum's stash.

And mum did the top-stitching, alternating between red and green thread, and then, she sewed the backing.

And here you are, folks!
