Mac and his Circle of Life

My daughter, Ming-Yi, just finished making this video clip in memory of Mac.  Most of the photos were taken from old photos in our albums, hence, they may not be very clear (reflection of the plastic cover).

It seems like just yesterday when we brought Mac and Bobby home.  And my children were so small then...

You'll see how tiny Bobby was when we first brought them back.  I remember Mac used to bully Bobby for the first few months.  Then, Bobby had a plan - he would eat like crazy till he grew bigger, and then....bully Mac back!  The plan worked, he ate, and ate, and ate....and that is how Bobby, who was supposed to be a toy poodle, grew so big!!

How time flies...

From the day we arrive on the planet
And blinking, step into the sun

There's more to see than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done
There's far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high
Through the sapphire sky
Keeps great and small on the endless round

It's the Circle of Life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the Circle
The Circle of Life

Dear Ming-Yi,
Thank you for coming up and sharing with us this beautiful video clip of Mac.

I share your loss and I feel your pain in the passing of Mac. You have given Mac 13 years of happy life and he couldnt have asked for a more wonderful friend and companion than you.

Mac has been reborn in a happier place now, thanks to the love that you and your mum have given him.

Dear Kah Yein and Ming Yi,

My deepest condolences for the loss of Mac.

KY, when I got your text message, I was in shock that Mac left this world. It kept me thinking. 13 years is a long time yet it felt so short. Then again, life always seem to feel that way especially with our beloved pets. At the end, the time spent with them has always been worthwhile.

Ming Yi, your video is very touching. It made me cry.

May Mac rest in peace and may he be in a better place now.

Dear Kah Yein,

You are a wonderful person with a big-hearted soul :) God bless you for the works you are doing....

My condolences to you on Mac's demise but like you said, what matters is that he's whole again now, in a different place.

Take care
