Measuring and cutting the backing cloth.

Did I get that right, Ginger?

Life is so much sweeter when you have a furry companion and helper in everything that you do!

Nah...it's the angle. It isn't me!
They caught me at the wrong angle!!
P.S. Yes, it's actually the angle!! He isn't THIS rotund.
The making of Blanket No.26:
It's done with chequered pink, heart-motif pink and polka dot pink.
It's Heidi's design....and Heidi chose a dark pink border for it.
The most special feature is that the whole backing is done in the same pink cloth with heart motifs! So it's got a matching backing.
It measures 47 inches by 71 inches.
This is a two-layered cotton patchwork without padding in between.
Will this lovey-dovey blankie be yours on Chap Goh Mei and Valentine's Day?
Happy Bidding!!
Agnes bought 18 horses!
Thank you very much, Agnes.
And I worked through Chinese New Year (in between planning for Eugene's pound rescue).
Each horse would be framed in this pretty patchwork cloth.
The horse cloth material was easy to work with as it's very thick cotton.
It measures 54.5 inches by 76 inches.
Yes, it's BIG and heavier than our usual blankets!
And this is a two-layered cotton patchwork without padding in between.
The backing is done in pink and sewn by my mum.
I did the top design and the top-stitching.
How about 18 horses to keep you warm and comfortable?
Will this blanket be yours?

Bunny & Friends were already on full alert.
With Cow ever ready to protect and hold the fort.
By the time I got my camera out, I'd miss the shot of Rosie and Vincent looking really worried, sitting atop the car.
Vincent was on the ledge, checking for clues.
Mr Zurik looked like he just woke up...oh, he's not involved too?
Now, the plot thickens. No Vincent and no Mr Zurik? And a fight was brewing?
WHO was involved?
Timmy looked really scared and quickly ran into the house.
That leaves...Ginger and...Heidi.
I don't think it was Ginger or Daffodil as I'd seen her the first round I came out and she wasn't involved at all.
So it must have been.......
Yes! Our grand old Dame Heidi.
We've had this theory that even amongst cats, there is race and color-coding.
This looks like a tabby issue, so tabbies to the frontline?
A license to kill, make no mistake about that, but certainly not on a whim.
We're from Orange County, so we'd better play it safe and go into the safehouse.
This is not our fight.
Tabby? Did someone say "tabby"?
Is my help needed?
Race exists in the cat community. Cats of the same "feather" fight together? Sorry, I meant, flock. Flock together.
And while everyone was on full alert...
This is the first lion...
Then comes the second lion...
And the performance heightens!
After a few rounds, it got a little out of control (well, lions will be lions, right?) and we had to intervene....
The champion.
This was another lion dance outside in the garden yesterday - between Vincent and Mr Zurik.
And also another in Bunny's Place which was quite "magnificent" in all its feline splendour as it sent fur flying...between Cow & Bunny! But as in all lion dances, it was just a performance and nobody got hurt (thank goodness!).
We don't know what happened or how it happened but we saw Heidi keeping Timmy under restraint (or more accurately, under the netting) this morning.
Stay there, you naughty cat. No more stealing food!
Timmy looked quite helpless and didn't dare move at all.
After half an hour...
I'm watching you like a hawk...
After an hour...
Rescue aid finally comes....
Run free, Timmy Thompson!
(That's the surname given by Jia-Wen.)
Meanwhile, life goes on as per normal...
With Mr Zurik hounding Willy.
Willy made his disappearing act on New Year's eve, but came back on New Year's Day!
