Blueys, Bobby, Bunny and Tiger

These pictures tell a lot.

They get a free run of the house and have claimed the sofa.

A lovely little picture of peace and contentment.

Uncle Bunny is on the next chair.

 They love the playhouse now...

They still play in the little house.

 Uncle Bunny wants baby food!

Bunny has sort of accepted them.

 So has Tiger...

Bunny's back on his pink box, after almost 27 days of exile, I think.

 That's Bagheera sleeping down there.

My my, aren't you sitting tall!

Now, I'm only worried about Indy.

Indy seems to be very upset with the Blueys' presence...or maybe it's a territorial fight with Pole and he lost? Well, I wouldn't know, but I'll keep bringing him back several times a day.

It's official....

The Blueys are Uncle Bobby's newly appointed food tasters...

Yum Yum....

Bobby takes a long time to come to his food every day...

After 15 minutes, Bobby comes along..

Ok, the food is safe, Uncle Bobby...let's eat!

And where is Uncle Cow?

Yup, he's definitely sleeping on the job!

Indy has an issue

Indy seems to have an issue with someone. I'm not sure if it's the Blueys or Pole, or even Cow.

He has been distancing himself a lot, refusing to come back even for breakfast. And every day, I have to go bring him back from the neighbour's (3 houses away).

When he comes back, he hisses at the Blueys, and practically everyone. He seems terrified of Pole too, but these two have been at loggerheads for sometime now. I guess it's because both of them live outside, so there is a territorial issue outside?

Issue with Cow.

I had to bring him back this evening, and by the way, he finished the last dose of his 2-week course of antibiotics today.

He hissed at everyone in the house, and he bit my hair, as though complaining about something. He just kept biting and biting non-stop as I carried him back.

I think he feels insecure because of the Blueys.

Indy has always been really nice about everything. He would come back and make this cute little noise, calling us, or announcing his arrival and asking for food.

He doesn't even come back now. I have to go carry him back. He just sits on the culvert of the neighbour's house.

I hope Indy settles his issues soon.

Meanwhile, we have potential adopters for the Blueys and we're in the process of vetting the applicants.

You'll see why I cannot adopt another cat. My existing six are just too territorial. It's either they would start chasing the new cats, or they pack their bags and run away from home.

Such sensitive creatures, aren't they?

Sunnies and friends on a Sunday

Rozita sent this on behalf of the Sunnies:

This is wat Sunday mornings look like for us kittycats. Its our special sunday breakfast day, where we get together n eat together before we dispurse n continue our daily chores of ransacking mummies home, disturbing daddy while he reads his newspaper n nose through our sisters armpits while they do their school work :p

If I am to be a cat in my next life, I'd want to be in a home like this!

Thanks, Rozita!

The Blueys do their daily duty - as Bobby's food tester

Well, we have to do this 'coz Uncle Cow has been sleeping on the job...

Of course, they are always well rewarded.

Even the litter-box is a playground for them.

 Now, seriously...who is who?

 (Don't look at the tail!)

They have actually conquered the sofa.

Er...we need to test more pieces to make sure the yum-yum chicken is REALLY safe for our Uncle Bobby.

The Blueys get a new box

We had two shoes boxes, so I gave it to the Blueys as a new house....

Uncle Tiger's watching from above.

Well, as long as it's not a basket, otherwise, it comes under my department.

Can you tell who is who?

After we came back, we found they had converted one of the boxes into a toilet!
Yes, that box had to go....ha ha.

The Blueys get a feather

We bought a feather for the Blueys today...and they had a ball!

We first played with them in the usual way...and after WE got tired, they took over the feather and created their own "catch me if you can" game. There were even rules - if one has got the feather, they other would not be allowed to snatch it away. The other could only watch. Who created the rules? I think it's more like Bagheera wanted to play, and Baloo decided to give in and let her play!

 It's mine, it's mine!

Okay, I'll wait for my turn.

Bagheera takes the feather away in her mouth.

 He he he...all mine!

 Er...may I play too?

When's my turn?

Baloo reminds me of Rex and Foxy - I'll bet she's descended from French aristocrats with impeccable manners.

We later played with them again and made sure each one had her turn.

They had a ball!

Sunny pictures on a Saturday

Rozita sent these a few days ago....

Rozita writes:

My future alpha male in the making. He's very attached to me lately. Sits with me whenever I'm watching tv. Together with Bear n Foxy, baking time all 3 will b assisting me at the oven. Besides the smell of fresh cookies, its the heat of the oven they just can't live without :)

This is Honeybear, codenamed "Bear" (it sure sounds more cool!)

Foxy, the little lady.

The Sunnies were rescued by a student in KL; they were found abandoned in a box by the roadside. Nobody offered to foster them, so I took them in. On the first day, Honeybear, the smallest, threw about 7 seizures. The vet said he'd either make it or not, and there was nothing we could do about it. I held him close to my heart every time he had a seizure. The seizures stopped that night. Honeybear had made it.

I looked after them for almost two months before putting them up for adoption. Rozita responded and she sounded the perfect adopter...and she is!

When I see updated photos of the Sunnies, I thank the heavens that they are in such a good, safe and loving home. They are so, so blessed.

Thank you, Rozita.
