Pole is still on the roof (5.40pm)

I think Pole is probably sleeping inside that niche in the neighbour's roof. It is 5.40pm now, and it's going to be dark soon.

We've put a plank from the gutter of the neighbour's roof to our wall. If only Pole could see this as a way back, it might work.  But as far as I can figure out, she comes only as far as the roof and stops at the gutter, too scared to go any further.

I hope she comes out soon (from that niche).  The neighbour has closed all his windows and is not answering his doorbell. Our option was to ask his permission to go into his house, get to the window and call Pole. That niche is very this window. But to do that, the neighbour would have to answer his doorbell first.

I wanted to call the fire brigade, but my husband said not to as he does not wish to inconvenience the neighbour and incur his displeasure. Also, the presence of strangers might cause Pole to be more frightened and she might just run away. Pole is not stuck or anything like that, she is mobile and could very well be unwilling to come home as she doesn't like being confined.

We've spotted Pole many time for the last 4 hours now.  We just cannot get to her to bring her down.

So, I'm really lost now.

Maybe you can leave a paper note .... really 'big one' on your neighbour's gate?

Okay, okay ... not that big ... just visible ... on the gate, so that it wouldn't be confused for flyers or brochures...

I think just let it be ... Pole will be back when she 'wants' too...

Borrow one of Tabs feather toys & try to coax Pole to come play with it?

Maybe can tie a thread to Tabs mouse toy, and use it to attract Pole's attention. Hopefully it can coax her to come closer & your husband can get her. I used to have a rubber cockroach & I tie a thread to it and play with my cats. They are so into it, they just love it.
