Bunny found - safe and sound!!!

It's 11.33am now, and Bunny is here!!

I went out looking again after writing that post about Bunny being missing.

I was really worried because all five had come back, even Bunny's sister, Pole. And Cow and Pole were following me around (which is rare, which is worrying as well). Pole is like a community cat, she does come back, but she doesn't quite stick around.

When my cats behave out-of-the-ordinary, I get worried.

Cleo was inside the drain, at my next-door neighbour's.

Cow accompanied me on my search.
Maybe they got worried too.
Tiger also followed, and as I was trying to get up from the drain, I slipped and fell, but no worries, not injured at all.

Then, I heard my husband calling out, "Where's Mummy?" and as I went back to my house...

He was carrying Bunny out to look for me.

Where was he????

Don't know, my husband said. He just appeared in the house suddenly.
Bunny, Bunny, Bunny!!!

I quickly brought him in and gave him some food.

We think he was inside the house all the time, having his forty winks. He has this habit of sleeping for LONG hours and nothing can disturb him. But I searched everywhere in the house already, even inside cupboards, he was no where to be seen. And my house has very few things.

Where on earth was he for the last three-and-a-half nightmarish hours where all sort of thoughts went through my mind???

Never mind....as long as he is safe and sound!

Bunny, Bunny, Bunny!!

 Here he is, after eating.

Happy Bunny..

Happy me!

As I was looking for Bunny, I was also asking our local shelter manager about micro-chipping.  Apparently, I got all my facts wrong. I thought I would be able to track down my pet after it's been micro-chipped.  Not so, it seems. Micro-chipping is only for other humans to find your pet, bring it to a vet with a scanner (not many have the device) to identify the owner. It isn't for tracking down your pet. That would be a GPS chip, available only in the US, at US$800 or something like that. We don't even have that in our country.

I can't wait to move to my new place where the cats will have their own cat-space at the back. I'm still thinking of how to cat-escape-proof it. Moving them to a new place will be a real challenge. It isn't far from my present house, though, and it's more low-density so there won't be so much traffic.

Someone once showed me this link for cat proofing yards: http://www.cat-world.com.au/cat-enclosures
Looks nice too! Maybe you could try something like that =)

Welcome back Bunny! :)

Dr. Chan, cats are mystical in some ways. They can be just right there and we can't see them. Strange but it happens (especially after one has searched every inch in the house).
