Bobby has two more guide-cats!

I had written earlier about Bunny and Cow being Bobby's guide-cats.  Bunny takes care of (almost blind) Bobby inside the house, making sure he doesn't bump into the furniture and guides him up the stairs.  Cow takes Bobby to his food bowl for every meal and accompanies him as he eats.

Well, Bobby has another two guide-cats.  These two look after him when he is outside on the porch and driveway.

It's Indy and Tiger, our other two male cats.

Take a look...

Bobby was prowling in the driveway and the little gate was open.  As Bobby headed towards the little gate, Tiger came to the rescue and tried to block him from going out.

But Bobby was adamant, so Tiger had to step out with Bobby as well.

Help, I need reinforcement, says Tiger.  Indy came to the rescue, and they both stood in front of the little gate to block Bobby from going out.

Hold it, hold it...what's going on here?  Bunny came trotting out of the house.  What's going on?  Why wasn't I informed about this?  (Tiger moves aside to let Bunny take over the task.)

I'll take over from here, Bunny seems to say.  By now, we had closed the little gate, but Bunny was not going to take any chances.

This is how Bunny blocks Bobby.  He stands in front of him.

You go back, Bobby, you're not getting past me, Bunny says.  Bobby gets the message and turns back.

I might as well go back into the garden, if I can't go out.

Bobby heads back into the house.

Thus ends another episode of Bobby and his Guide-Cats!

Which almost-blind dog can boast of having FOUR guide-cats to help him around?

As I've said, one good turn deserves another.  Bobby looked after all of them when they were young.  Now, it's their turn!

Friendship has no boundary. Human beings, please learn from these four-legged beings.
