Winnie's kittens say "goodnight"

Winnie has brought them into her room and has just given them supper....and they have pee-d too.

That's the twosome in a shoebox....so, so small.

Bunny is missing

I fed Bunny his breakfast today, at 5.30am and again, at 6.30am when Bobby came down. Ever since then, I have not seen him.


I have looked up and down and road and everywhere inside the house. All my five cats are around, but Bunny is missing.

This is Bunny's latest photo, taken just days ago.

Cow had been attacking him for the past few days, and a neighbour said she saw Bunny fighting with another cat outside her gate last night. 

But I fed Bunny this morning and all seemed well.

Please help me pray that Bunny will come back soon.

I have sent his photo to the shelter manager as well, in case he is found and someone brings him to the shelter.

I'm going to microchip all my animals. But I need to find Bunny first.  

Tsk...I'm already going to move to another house by the end of the year where we are going to have a proper cat space at the back. 

Bunny, please come home. 

He's gone missing twice before. Once, he went missing for 16 hours, but came back by nightfall. We mounted a search all over but could not find him at all. He was quite young then. He came back on his own. Another time, he also went missing and I alerted the shelter, but he also came back on his own.  

Updates on Karuna

Our vet is very pleased with Karuna's progress.  It isn't often that I hear such superlatives from our vet, who tends to be very down-to-earth, realistic and careful in his comments. 


But Karuna IS doing very well.


All her wounds are healing and her appetite is fantastic.


One of my friends wanted to cook chicken and eggs for Karuna, but the vet advised against this as he does not want a change of diet at this point.  It might cause diarrhoea, which we all know, is most unwelcomed.  


The vet also said that Karuna is not aggressive at all; she is friendly and even though the wound cleaning is extremely painful, Karuna is patient and does not react negatively to it.

It is unfortunate that the temple caretaker is unable to look after Karuna upon her recovery as he says the wild dogs sometimes enter the temple grounds and would attack Karuna even if she could live at the back of the kitchen.  

Gosh....we now have to look for a home for Karuna and I have NO idea who can help (at this point in time).

It's not like we took on the responsibility of taking in Karuna.  We seldom take in any animal (without a rescuer) UNLESS one of us is prepared to foster the animal.  But Karuna was dying and was brought to our panel vet.  We just couldn't say "no" as that would mean we let her die.  We had to take over and give the green light for treatment.  

Can you please help us look for a home for Karuna?  We will continue with the daily treatment until such a time when we have a better plan for her.

Help needed urgently for 3 kittens

Sze Kei (019-2602884) is Powie's cousin who found the box with 3 kittens last night.  Someone had probably abandoned the poor kittens.  Sze Kei has attempted to feed them kitten milk since last night, but they were reluctant to drink.  They are also crying. 

Now, Sze Kei's mother would not let her keep the kittens, so she needs a fosterer or adopter urgently to look after these kittens.

Can you help?  Do you know of anyone who can?  If so, please contact Sze Kei directly on her hp above. 

We will subsidise the medical treatment of these kittens.  An initial check-up by a vet is necessary.
