So, while the bidding was going on for Mickey Blankie, I started working on another blanket.
Mum is still working on the frame for the orange Teddy Bear, but meanwhile, we have enough cloth to complete this blanket below so it might just come out before the Teddy blanket.
I thought I'd throw in a little creativity...

Do you know that there is another famous and much-beloved cat cartoon character? It's DORAEMON. If you have not been following this character - he is this loveable, ever helpful alien robot blue cat (who has lost his tail) who is best friend to a boy who always gets bullied, cannot do his homework and gets outsmarted all the time by girls. So Doraemon got a special magic pocket where he pulls out all kinds of bizarre wonderful "solutions" to help this boy, and the stories about Doraemon helping the boy are wonderfully crazy, funny, off-tangent and heart-warming.

Hi Diana, Yes, I hand-sewed them. I don't have a sewing machine and don't know how to use one! But my mum will top-sew again using the machine.
