Cleo smelled the food and jumped onto the kitchen sill to watch me shred the chicken meat.
Last night, Cleo had been vomiting out some food, so I thought I should give her some soup and shredded chicken instead. She ate it all up and there was no vomiting after that.
This morning, I thought I'd warm up the food. Normally I only defrost it till room temperature, but let's try warming it up and see if they would eat it.
Shredded chicken meat, liver, carrot, celery, kelp.
I decided to cut down on the variety of veges just in case it's the veges that put my brood off.
Here goes nothing...wish me luck!
You expect us to eat this??
Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3....
Pole liked the soup.
Ok, this is like last night's food. Yes, I don't mind it.
No.
Cow and Indy had already walked away with heads hung low...
YES from the condo. Still NO from the floor.
NO from the kitchen slab.
Oh well, okay, I'm a hungry Bunny, so anything goes...
No, No, No.
Tabs relents since she is a hungry Tabs too.
Me still NO.
Oh well, okay. I relent...Natural Balance for the protesters.
Need more, please.
Indy needs a lot of fluids since he is a suspect kidney case.
I guess it's good enough that he is willing to take canned wetfood.
Now, what about Raven?
Raven a.k.a. Secret Agent Shadow Girl had done some acrobatics in the cage last night. When I first came downstairs and peeped at her, she had got her basket overturned on top of the litter box and she was sitting ON TOP of the basket.
But never mind, because Shadow Girl completely LOVES the home-cooked food.
Three helpings....all licked clean.
More?
Just the soup, ok? Don't eat too much.
Not interested in going out.
Oh, good morning, Rosie...you're up early.
Shadow Girl finally discovers what the fishpad is for.
I feed Rosie and Ginger outside the gate. It's a bit risky to open the gate in the wee hours of the morning.
Shadow Girl wants to scratch, scratch, scratch!
The two bell-balls I bought her yesterday have disappeared completely!
Hopefully this cat-nip caterpillar will last longer
Raven behaves more like a puppy than a kitten, actually. Whenever I see her, she would be prancing happily leading me where she wants to go. I'm glad she is happy.
This morning, after breakfast, Raven and I sat on the bench enjoying the stillness of dawn while I rubbed her ears and head with oil. She seems to enjoy it and I think I see a lot of improvement, especially on the ears.
After the oil rub, we both sat quietly and Raven rubbed herself on me.
It is very peaceful at dawn.
As I looked up into the sky, a star shone very brightly.
I smile and my heart is comforted.
Moments are all we have.
Let's make them precious ones.

hahaha, Cleo testing her food with her paw.
I couldn't agree with you more. Each time that we have with both our human and animal frieds are so precious. You never know when the time that we have together is up.
I smile each time I see the picture of your wooden step ... coz I have the exact same thing in my house haha!
Hi Dr KY,
Kucing saya juga suka 're-decorate" apa saja yang saya letak dalam cage dia :). Mungkin Dr. boleh cuba ikat bakul dengan tali pada cage supaya jadi macam hammock. The hang-out basket will be elevated and a lil bit far from the litter box and also wouldn't be overturned hopefully..
Thanks for the idea, Hazwani!
